Thyroid nodules are relatively common clinical diseases, including thyroid adenoma, nodular goiter, and thyroid cancer. Sometimes medical history and clinical examination are difficult to determine its nature, unable to provide an exact basis for preoperative diagnosis, which brings difficulties to the choice of surgery, and the choice of surgery directly affects the efficacy. At present, thyroid fine-needle aspiration smear examination (FNAC) is considered to be the main screening method for diagnosing thyroid nodules, with a diagnostic coincidence rate of more than 80%, and foreign reports that its diagnosis rate can reach 90%. FNAC examination is simple, easy to perform, and highly accurate. It is mainly used for the differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules and distinguish benign and malignant lesions.
